It was a hot and muggy one, but we survived the cooler weather along the shores of Lake Michigan in Pentwater. The Pentwater Library sponsored a concert for the community in the quaint Century United Methodist Church.

Yesterday, we celebrated Barb's 70th birthday with friends and family. She is Cindy & Jerry's big sister. Great food, special friends and of course Adams Family music. Another grand night on the Grand River on the sold out Grand Lady Happy Hour Cruise. Good to see the Hepburns and Dawsons. Skip, our captain, shared their 27th anniversary with us. Many new faces and fun for all as usual.       It was a questionable night with the thunderstorms surrounding the area, but we managed to get the show in with just a brief rain break. We love coming down to South Haven and playing at Riverfront Park as the boats file pass along the channel and the beautiful sun set. The crowd hung in there with us with their umbrellas and some even joined us under the pavilion during a short heavy rain delay as we did some real acoustic folk tunes. What a great crowd, who really enjoys having fun listening to music. Looking forward to next year already.        Another fantastic Michigan 4th of July celebration with the folks of Grandville.                 |
